...not to worry, Windows 8 is around the corner!
Although Windows 7 is the best-selling version of the operating system ever, according to Steve Ballmer, this hasn’t stopped Microsoft of planning ahead. And Windows 8 (someone has to be a bit more creative with naming conventions in Redmond) will be the new product that is aiming to blow your mind! (in a good way we hope...)

It is definitely early days but employees down at Microsoft Kitchen are already building the hype around the new product. Some taking it even further are already talking about the “Chrome and Android killer”.
With rumours that Windows 8 might be released as early as 2011 (that will be December 2011 we guess...) the question is obvious; Is there something wrong with Windows 7? I have tried Windows 7 and have to admit that are much better than Vista in terms of resources management (CPU memory, drivers support etc.). On the other hand I was never unhappy about Windows Vista. Compared to XP they were far superior given that you had at least 4GB of RAM and a decent processor.
Since this is turning into an”operating systems comparison review” I’ll close with a quote from John Mangelaars, VP of Consumer and Online at Microsoft EMEA:
“Apple is doing well on the PC side but Windows 7 is a blockbuster. We got it really right. For me, Windows 8 will be mind-blowing”
