There have been various proposed changes to the online recruitment sector in the UK following the completion of the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills' (BIS) recent consultation. The new legislation may potentially be introduced in Oct 2010.
A highlight of the possible impacts for jobsboard contained within include:
1. removing burden on job boards to carry out checks (e.g. entitlement to work in the UK) on candidates that find work through their sites
2. job boards will no longer have to state in advertisements whether the services they are advertising are those of an "agency" or an "employment business".
