As Twitter sneaks ever closer to the mainstream it appears not only to be growing in popularity but in the types of service offered.
According to Brand Republic's
article they are now in the process of establishing themselves as a competitor of Google as a search engine. The aim is to offer fewer but more relevant results in the form of Tweets and links to web sites. How Twitter decides on filtering and ranking these results has not been published as of yet.
Following the recent
Twitter Job Search launch this could now act as yet another tool to help active job seekers find newly posted jobs on-line.
