What can recruitment marketeers learn from World Cup advertising campaigns?

As World Cup fever descends across the nation, the big boys have all released their marketing campaigns, but which one is the best and what can we learn from them to make our marketing for recruitment better?

There has been a lot of talk around the Nike advert with a bearded Wayne Rooney (although with a plethora of other global superstars but the one that has caught my eye recently is Coca-Cola's goal celebration series.

The idea behind this is extravagant celebrations - we all love them, from Roger Milla's dance to Peter Crouch's robot.  Now the public get their chance to upload their own celebrations and post these on Coca-Cola's YouTube page where they can win tickets and other prizes.

The reason I like this is just how integrated the campaign is, it makes use of TV, print and more or less every social media channel going - OK, so it centres around YouTube but also likes to Facebook where you can 'like' yours and others celebrations and build interest virally.

I am interested to hear other peoples ideas on how excellent campaigns like these mentioned can be used effectively for recruitment, please share your ideas......

And let's get involved in the Coca-Cola ad (please post links to your celebrations below) and so you know what's it's all about:

And for all you England Fans, if you're not excited enough already, this might help - 'probably' the best team talk in the world:

Note: This is also another good example of a company effectively using numerous marketing channels (you can upload your team talk)

COME ON ENGLAND!
