The UK advertising scene has changed as of yesterday. Microsoft can no longer sit safe on their laurels, as internet giant Google plans on winning their opposition’s product users by using simple text advertising that embraces their campaign line “Gone Google”.
Google is famous for having built its global business using minimal advertising, and this campaign will be driven internationally by Google Enterprise over the next 28 days.
Playing on the frustrations that everyday users and tech support teams face every day, the ads will use lines that will aim to convince people of Google’s superior products such as: “Day 9: Email inbox is full. Grrr! Go Google?” and “Day 15: Attaching documents is so 1990s. Go Google?”
Look out for digital billboards in tube stations like Liverpool St and Paddington.
