Established in 1993 The Graduate Recruitment Company has helped thousands of graduates find excellent graduate jobs with a huge range and size of employer from traditional corporates such as RBS, Fujitsu, Kerry Foods, Gillette and Tetley through to small and medium size businesses, predominantly in the media, digital, advertising, property and recruitment sectors.
Having grown irritated and annoyed with their existing provider GRC required a complete overhaul, revamp and modernisation of their online offering. GRC wanted to move away from the look and feel they had and promote the strong social network.
The design of the new GRC website was of upmost important for GRC. In order to achieve the required look and feel as well as ensuring the design was still functional and usable, 4MAT undertook a in depth and scientific design process. 4MAT began by heat mapping their existing site and reviewing the performance though analytics. Following this, wireframes were created to allow for key functionality to feature in areas of the website the will yield the required results. GRC have made good use of functionality, integrating with Facebook in addition to twitter feeds directly displaying on the website, browse search and their referral scheme. 4MAT have also undertaken and SEO and link building strategy on GRC’s behalf.
GRC now have an aesthetically pleasing website which reflects the goals and objective of the company. The design also caters for and exploits the growing use of social media in recruitment. Since launch, unique visitors to the GRC website have increased by 20% with referrals coming by means of social media up 18%.
