Last Thurday 5th July saw UK Recruiter’s Learning and Networking event for Recruitment Directors in Bishopsgate.
Our very own James Saunders
talked about the importance of candidate branding and the value of having a content marketing strategy.
It was argued that many recruiters don’t ‘do’ candidate branding. Why? Some don’t feel they need candidate branding, their focus is on clients and not candidates and that many don’t understand it. As James highlighted, candidate branding is about far more than a new logo.
Content marketing was then addressed and James showed how with an effective strategy the workload need not be as intimidating as some would believe, to create ripples and have a positive effect. One piece of work can be syndicated through relevant channels to bring a consistent, far reaching message that helps promote your brand and, for example, show you as the thought leaders in your field.
