4MAT conclude the recruitment sector is lagging behind the mainstream. A study found that 12% of web traffic was from mobile, whereas only 6% of traffic is from mobile on recruitment websites. It may be that job seekers are not returning to recruitment agency websites as they find the user experience difficult, with sites not optimised for job searches and applications.
