Specialist technical and engineering recruitment company, NES has reached the final stages of the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2009.
The company, which faces a second round of judging before the winning
company is announced at the APSCo charity ball on Friday 27th November, fought
off strong opposition in a competitive category (for recruitment companies with
a turnover of £100million or more) to reach the finals.
“Within the current economic climate,
it’s a huge achievement to receive acknowledgement like this,” says Neil
Tregarthen, CEO at NES. "It’s also a boost to morale for our employees who
have worked tirelessly to minimise the impact of a global recession on the
success of the business,” he adds.
“To win an award like this during such
testing times would be incredible but to be a finalist, during a period of
project funding delays and recruitment freezes, is an achievement in itself so
we’re excited about facing the judging panel, telling our compelling story, and
are looking forward to the award ceremony in November,” Neil concludes.
