TruCareers - 4MAT apply the science

Feb 20 12 - 2:37PMDavid Johnston 4MAT news
4MAT will be facilitating a career website lab at TruLondon on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd February.

TruLondon 5 will bring together a diverse range of corporate inhouse recruiters, recruitment consultants, job boards, media managers and social media consultants for two days of fresh thinking, discussion and creativity.

The corporate career website has been under much discussion over the past twelve months and 4MAT are delighted to have been invited to facilitate the first career website lab at TruLondon 5.

Over two days David Johnston will be hosting a series of sessions and workshops with objective of identifying what makes the ideal career website. These sessions will provide the science and research to create a prototype wireframe site for TruCareers.

In Tru style the 4MAT Career Website Lab will encourage discussion and debate around a range of topics including:

  1. The definition of a career website, its purpose and its audience?
  2. What should a career website contain and what should functionality should be available?
  3. Defining the wireframe and user journeys
  4. The visitor experience for both active and passive job seekers
  5. How can we improve the candidate experience?
  6. Using and integrating mobile, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs and other content channels
  7. Capturing information, LinkedIn, Facebook, CV parsing and is a quick register relevant?
  8. Continuing the engagement beyond the application or interest by integrating with communities, ATS and CRM platforms

This is an exciting opportunity to pull thoughts and ideas from those at the forefront of online recruitment and the results should be extremely interesting to all.
