4MAT marked the one year anniversary of the recession with part two of the "Success In Tougher Times" series.
The event took place on the 9th September 2009 at the Skylon Restaurant, in partnership with Kamanchi, and had bought together a crowd of recruitment managers for an informative breakfast session.
The event was chaired by Jeff Grout, and featured the following panel:
Ian Wolter, HBHC
“Now is the opportunity to staff up, everyone is available in this golden moment. It’s also important to start thinking about investment in training and development for both consultants and management,”
James Howells, Redgrave Partners
"I can't stress the importance of having a clear business plan as market conditions change enough."
John O'Sullivan, Elite Leaders
“
There are now a lot of people in the job market. We have a choice of identifying talent or going back to the way we were. This is a real opportunity to professionalise, finding individuals with real account management skills who can engage in creative selling. We can raise the genepool by finding people who can do the job in all weathers rather than just succeeding in a booming market."
