The Aim

A long-term client, AndersElite had been working with 4MAT for fifteen years before deciding that they wanted to commission a fourth recruitment website in early 2017. Traditionally an innovative company, that prided themselves on providing a market-leading candidate experience, AndersElite underwent a management buy-out in late 2016, which resulted in a company re-brand.

AndersElite wanted a website that reflected and emphasised their new brand, whilst also drawing on their years of experience within the recruitment industry. They wanted their new website to reflect their passion for providing a personal experience, good recruitment consultants and a friendly face to their customers.

To do this, they wanted a clean, simple user experience that would make it easy to find great jobs, backed up with market-leading technology. For that, they needed a market-leading product: one that they knew 4MAT could provide.

The Method

One of 4MAT’s main priorities was to build a website that would reflect AndersElite’s new rebrand whilst also maintaining the heritage of a brand, and company, that had been active in the recruitment sector for years. We designed the website to fit this new image, using inspirational yet relevant imagery that would reinforce their status as a friendly, personal company that could also provide recruitment expertise in the technical industry.

Above all, AndersElite wanted a website that was clean, easy to use and put recruiters front and centre: 4MAT rose to the challenge, foregrounding site navigation and Predictive Search capabilities that made it easy for candidates to search for jobs: to increase candidate engagement, they also created integrated consultant profiles for the platform, which allowed browsers to search for consultants, browse any jobs that they were in charge of or even get in touch with them directly.

The Results

In the months after the site went live, AndersElite received a marked increase in traffic and conversions: their Google Organic traffic increased by 55%, whilst their number of conversions jumped from 7.5% to 12%.

AndersElite have also been working on upgrading and developing their website, which was one of the main reasons they chose 4MAT originally: the DV4 platform’s flexibility is ideal for adding plug-ins, and they have been experimenting with features like Live Chat, and integrating Feefo reviews into the consultant’s profile pages.

A fantastic example of the effect that a great core functionality can have, combined with an increased focus on the people and consultants behind the business, AndersElite’s simple and effective recruitment website is an excellent example of a modern, innovative recruitment website.
