Antony Thornicroft

Antony joined 4MAT having gained a majority of his development experience working with a leading UK based insurance provider.

Whilst working as a Software and Systems tester he qualified as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Web Based Application Development and the .NET Framework.

Following on from this he made the move in to a full time .NET development position. Utilizing products in the Microsoft technology stack with particular interests in ASP.NET MVC, C#, WCF and SQL Server. He has been involved in various projects ranging from implementing SOA design principles for enterprise level systems to creating mobile based applications for Android and iOS operating systems.

Like all good developers he follows the industry watching for the ever evolving changes in the IT landscape, blogging about topics which he has particular interests in, running his own .NET related forums and generally trying to contribute his thoughts and opinions within developer community.

Antony is now looking forward to working with the talented technical and creative teams at 4MAT HQ, as well as the challenge of working in the unique and exciting recruitment industry.

Outside of work and whilst not working on his own projects, Antony can generally be found enjoying spending time with friends, hunting down new restaurants either at home or abroad or running around trying to win some sort of sporting competition.
