The iPhone 6 hasn’t had the smoothest of launches and new problems are cropping up every day. The one lesson?
Get. The. Basics. Right.
The iPhone 6 is supposed to be ‘Bigger than bigger’ but all it really is is a larger, faster, iPhone without any standout innovative features which people have come to love Apple for. To claim that and then suffer a myriad of post-launch problems means Apple are not holding up their end of the bargain (and for a £500+ phone, there are no excuses!)
Can you convince your clients that you’re the one to work with to help fill their roles? A frank appraisal of what you can achieve for them, mixed with a suitable touch of optimism is far better than telling them about your unlimited pool of perfect candidates which just isn’t true.
Lesson: Don’t oversell yourself. If you promise your clients and candidates the world and then come up short, they’ll wise up pretty quickly.
Just a thought.
